I'm completely incapable of actually writing a real blog post anymore. I'm pulled in so many directions, and there are just so many ways I can stretch...
Here's a quick update on the babes -
Nathan is trying with all his might to crawl, but not dice, yet. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks like crazy, then thumps his head down on the carpet and screams. He can scoot himself backwards sometimes, so I know he's close to forward movement.
Miss Annabelle has become quite the songbird. She screeches like a banshee! It's so funny, she just howls and laughs when I ask what she is talking about. She rolls all over the floor, but doesn't seem to have much interest in crawling. Or sitting up, for that matter.
It's so funny to me that 2 babies born at the same time, from the same parents can be so different. It's not about comparing what each one can do, but I'm forever fascinated by their differences and similarities. The twin mommying thing is pretty amazing!
Evelyn is such a great big sister, and just a a bucket-load of fun. I am trying my best to remember all the funniest bits and record them here. It's hard to keep up with her, since she's always talking, but she is just soo funny. She has a great sense of humor, and loves to make people laugh. Here are some of her bits - I'll call this What Evelyn Said:
to our Neighbor: "We have a rule at our house, no putting feet on babies. If you put your feet on a baby, you will get in big trouble."
to Me: "Just hurry up and park the car, Woman!"
in reference to ANYTHING she wants me to buy: "Is it on sale? Because you always say we can only buy something if it's on sale! I hope it's on sale!"
to anyone, about anything: "oh, that just dooms me!" (I don't even know where that came from!?!?!?)
